To further improve this, we finished out the attic/mechanical room shown in the picture below, moving the mechanicals elsewhere and allowing for more living room!
By incorporating these changes into the plan, our customers will have the option of using the extra space for something more functional! What can be done with this extra space? One idea that comes to mind is a convenient home office. The small window in the room offers plenty of natural light and some custom trimwork could easily transform one of the walls into a decorative bookcase/desktop combo. Another option would be a child’s playroom/nursery area. For parents, this option should be especially appealing! Nurseries are often cluttered with diaper bags, changing tables, and gliders, and children’s rooms are notorious for being overrun with toys. Using this adjacent room, parents can keep their children’s bedroom far more organized!
